The 9/11 Victory Race at Chastain Park is an annual 5k race benefiting the Shepherd Center
SHARE Military Initiative, and takes place at the American Legion Post 140.

Our Mission

To benefit the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative and to provide a day of patriotic remembrance for those most affected by the events of 9/11/2001.

Our History

The first race was held 10th anniversary of 9/11 in 2011 in remembrance of the terrorist attacks on our country through which we lost thousands of American lives including Adam White from the Buckhead community. The first four races have been very successful and have attracted more than 700 participants each year.

Our Cause

The race supports the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative which is a comprehensive rehabilitation program that focuses on assessment and treatment for service men and women who have sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury and PTSD from the Afghanistan and Iraqi conflicts. Our Sponsors

We look forward to working with even more donors in the future and would like to thank our current sponsors. For more info on sponsors and shonsorship opportunities, click here. A very special thank you to all of the families who donated and to our anonymous donors as well.
